Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency Finds KSM Project has no Significant Adverse Environmental Effects

Seabridge Gold is pleased to announce the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) has released its Comprehensive Study Report (CSR) for the KSM Project.  On page 95 of the report, CEAA concludes “the KSM Project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects taking into account implementation of the mitigation measures described in the report.”  The CSR can be found here: KSM_CEAA_CSR

CEAA will now hold a 30-day public comment period, after which the KSM Project will be referred to the Federal Minister of Environment who will decide whether KSM is likely to cause significant adverse effects.

Seabridge expects the Minister’s decision in the fall of 2014.
