For Seabridge Gold, protecting wildlife is a key priority while designing and conducting our operations. The KSM Project has undergone one of the most comprehensive and robust environmental assessment (EA) processes in the world, and during the EA, potential effects on wildlife and wildlife habitat were thoroughly evaluated and the EAO concluded the proposed Project is not likely to have significant adverse effects on the wildlife.

As a responsible mineral exploration and development company, since 2008, we have been conducting wildlife survey monitoring programs every five years around he KSM Project to understand the wildlife population numbers and to design strategies that will minimize, mitigate and remediate impacts on wildlife.
