Seabridge Gold’s Brent Murphy recently sent a letter to Mary Peltola, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Alaska’s at-large district, to provide her with information regarding the KSM Project. The letter aimed to highlight Seabridge Gold’s unwavering commitment to responsible development, as well as the significant support garnered from local communities and indigenous partners in northwest BC. It also emphasized the company’s extensive engagement with Alaskan tribes and ENGOs during the environmental assessment review of the KSM Project and maintaining ongoing engagement with the US Federal and State agencies, ensuring that concerns of Alaskans related to the KSM Project are carefully heard and addressed.
Furthermore, Brent extended an invitation to Representative Peltola and her team to visit the KSM Project site offering them an opportunity to personally witness the responsible development practices at the Project site and engage in meaningful discussions about the KSM Project.
